Founded in 1990, Leidenfrost Vineyards was one of the first Finger Lakes wineries to feature a broad spectrum of dry red wines, including Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Baco Noir. We also produce outstanding Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Gruner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc, Cayuga White, Catawba, Niagara and other flavorful white varieties. Our tasting room staff is fun, knowledgeable and dedicated to providing a unique and memorable experience of our wines. We invite you to experience a taste of the Finger Lakes in our beautiful timber frame tasting room overlooking Seneca Lake.

We are also happy to announce the return of the 2017 “Tattooed Lady”, a sparkling blend of Cayuga White and Vignoles which has quickly become a perennial favorite! In the Vineyard

subheader

As the winter season comes to a close we are eager to finish pruning the vines and begin tightening wires, tying and doing other spring vineyard maintenance. In April we will be seeking out and diagnosing sick or weak Pinot Noir vines and replacing them with new clones taken from our very own vineyard stock. We are also excited to see how our yearling Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc vines have faired the snowy winter.

Here at Leidenfrost Vineyards, we not only produce 100% of our wine from Estate grown grapes, we sell our surplus to many other wineries across New York State! We are thrilled to be able to offer great quality wine grapes to local wineries, big or small!
